Message from the President of College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia

Dr Amir Fuad Hussain

In 2017, the time will come for the 18th Congress of ASEAN Association of Radiology in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Malaysia is once again honoured to be the host for this prestigious event. This is a great time for radiologists and radiology professionals in the Southeast Asian region to share and spread their knowledge and experience for the benefit of everyone.

This would also be a good time to rekindle friendships and cooperation between the radiology fraternities in the ASEAN region. For this congress, the organisers have endeavoured to take advantage of partnerships with regional and international radiology bodies to present a wide range of topics from a truly global faculty.

Kuala Lumpur, the garden city of lights, is a beautiful city of contrasts of the old and new, cultural diversity, retail therapy and great gastronomical delights. The perfect backdrop for the regional radiology community to meet.

On behalf of the College of Radiology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, and also the organising committee, I would like to welcome everyone to this congress.

Thank you.

Dr. Amir Fuad Hussain
